ABOUT
Students of DCAC enrolled in the NCC unit are attached with Army unit of Group HQ Delhi 'C', 7 Delhi Battalion NCC situated at 'NCC Bhawan' Delhi Directorate building, Rohini. The unit is a Senior Division branch of NCC active since 1987. Up to 10 percent weightage is given to NCC Acertificate holders at the time of admission as per DU/UGC guidelines. The sanctioned strength of DCAC NCC Unit is 54 cadets. Since 1987 DCAC NCC, a proud institution has witnessed around 29 cadets getting commissioned into the Indian Army as Class-1 officers through various entries. The unit has always been taking part in various social service activities.

"The Idea of making an official website for the NCC Unit of Delhi College of Arts & Commerce came to me after I was promoted to the rank of SUO. Due to the raging pandemic in the year 2020, colleges were closed and all the executive decisions were being taken online. The complete methodology of our NCC unit's functionality was going through a transformation by shifting the work methodology to virtual mode. Thus, I found it quite difficult at first to collect certain data of importance in the huge piles of documents from the previous years of NCC training. However, I successfully compiled all the scattered data and saved it at one place for the convenience of the future rank-holders.

Moreover, I created this website to make it easy for civilians and Non-NCC students to get to know about the NCC Unit of DCAC and learn about all the achievements of this prestigious unit that would have gone unnoticed and unappreciated otherwise."
